Our History

This is the Fellowship of Christ, a church family made up of a rich diversity of Christians divinely united as Wake County's congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Founded upon the rock of Jesus Christ our Savior, the Fellowship of Christ first met as a church on August 20, 1989. Our services in those early nomadic months were held in various hotel meeting rooms. In May 1990 we were blessed with the regular use of a large room in a local seafood restaurant for Sunday services. The Fellowship of Christ continued to meet for over three years at what affectionately became known as "The Smell of the Fish". In July 1990 David McLean accepted our call to serve as our full time pastor. In mid 1992 we joined the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and in November of 1993 we moved to our current Cary location.
