Prayer Ministry at FOC
“Pray without ceasing.” “The prayers of a righteous man availeth
much.” “If my people who are called by My Name will humble themselves
and pray...” “Pray for those who mistreat you.” There are many scriptures
in God’s Word that command us to pray. We at FOC believe that prayer
is more than taking our wish-list to God. It is two-way communication,
both individually and corporately, as we not only talk to God
but more importantly, we listen as He talks to us.
The Fellowship has a team of committed intercessors who come together
on a monthly basis to pray and seek God and His Will for our church.
This intercessory prayer time is on the 3rd Friday night of each
month starting at 7:30 p.m.
Early on Tuesday mornings (6:00-7:30) is another time of corporate
prayer. Often when we gather, the phrase “early will I seek Him”
comes to mind. But it’s a wonderful way to start the day, followed
by breakfast and fellowship at Whole Foods.
And on Sunday morning from 7:00 – 8:00, the sanctuary is a place
for prayer as we ask God’s blessings on the upcoming services and
seek His desire for our time of worship. It’s also a time to prepare
our hearts and minds to come into the presence of the Creator of
the universe, our Abba Father.
Healing Prayer Ministry is also available twice monthly (second
and fourth Tuesdays) from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Team members will
stand with you and pray with you not only for physical healing
but also for healing of emotions, memories, depression, etc. No
need is too small or too insignificant for our God!
We invite you to come join us for a time of prayer. We believe
you will be blessed and also be a blessing!
