About The Event
Our monthly Day of Prayer is Wednesday, Aug. 23. We will meet at 7:00p for worship and prayer. Ruthie Angrand, our Intercessory Prayer team leader, will facilitate our time together. We will begin with worship in song and continue with 'unison' prayers, rising as our offering to the Lord (Psalm 141:2). End time is open-ended. Come as you are available and stay as long as you are able to join us as we intercede and appeal to heaven.
We strongly encourage everyone to participate in this gathering. Children of all ages are welcome with their parents or caregivers. No RSVP required. There will be no Intercessory Prayer call on Zoom this night.
About our Day of Prayer
We designate the 23rd day of each month as a church-wide Day of Prayer for joining together in intercession and appealing to heaven. Many in our congregation are praying for and expecting revival in our church, nation and world. To revive is to bring back to life. On this specific day dedicated to prayer as one body, we seek, turn, blow the trumpets, dance, sacrifice and ask for forgiveness in areas that are past due. We pray that our hearts be humble, open, prepared, surrendered, expectant and available to our loving God and his plans for us as individuals and a corporate body.
