Election Eve Prayer

There is power in prayer. Our country has a problem, but it is not one that politics can solve. And yet politics and elections reveal the problem in unique ways. They also afford us opportunities that we might otherwise skip to join together in unity of prayer for our church, our community, and our country. Doing this, we follow the example of the early church. 

Remembering that we "battle not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities..." let us join together on the eve of this presidential election for a time of focused prayer, honoring and glorifying Father God together, rejoicing in his sovereignty, repenting, forgiving one another, and interceding for his Kingdom to come in our lives and in the life of our country.
