About The Event
This event is an opportunity to fulfill our mandate (sharing the heart of the Father!) and bless senior residents at the Sir Walter Apartments in downtown Raleigh by serving dinner and participating in a community-building event with PostScript Outreach. Will you join us?
The goal of PostScript Outreach is "transforming lives through authentic relationships," to counter isolation and loneliness. The ministry welcomes 50-60 senior residents each Thursday to dinner and an evening of conversation and activities.
Here are two ways you can participate:
8-10 volunteers will carpool to downtown Raleigh to share the love of Jesus by serving dinner (buffet style), participating in conversations and the evening program with the residents, and cleaning up after the event. (Ages 15 - adult eligible; RSVP will close when registration reaches max of 10.)
Bake a homemade dessert (to serve 8 people) for the group to take with them! These were a special treat for the…
